How The War Effects African Locals.

Since the civil war is so expensive, adults get payed barely anything at all because there is no money left to give them, which means parents are not able to properly provide for their children and end up in poverty. People are at very high risk of getting killed. Children and Women get raped by rebels and men are killed. Since people are afraid of going out and getting harmed, they don't go out of their homes to get food, water, etc, which also means poverty for them and their children. With the war going on, people never know when their homes may be invaded and robbed. So overall it's a terrible living condition for people in africa because they're all afraid.

History

Several civil wars have been raging throughout Africa for hundreds of years. Most of these wars are over land, some are over religious reasons. Point is that Africans can't really agree on anything. There are several countries throughout Africa that have been at war for hundreds of years. The wars have left most of Africa in poverty, deprived of food, shelter, and clean water. 9.1 million people have been forced from their homes due to fighting. While the United Nations are helping as much as they can most of the fighting countries wont accept aid from foreigners so the UN have to recruit people in Africa to aid those in need.

How children are effected by the war.

When children' s parents go to war, they don't get the care they need. Children need food, clothes, water, shelter, etc. Their parents are not there to provide for them so they become starving, and filthy because they don't have any clothes to wear. Not to mention, these kids sometimes get raped and are brought into slavery to become a child soldier.
